A Mufti sat next to a Reverend on a flight. They seated to start a long journey, and started conversing with one another;
The Reverend asked the Mufti: What is your occupation?
MUFTI: I’m interested in big business
REV: What type of business exactly?
MUFTI: I deal with God.
REV: So you’re a Muslim, Religious leader… I hold nothing against you Muslims but you oppress your women.
MUFTI: So, how is it that we oppress our women?
REV: You make them cover up completely and don’t let them out of your homes.
MUFTI: I on the other hand have a problem with you people: You oppress MONEY.
REV: What? How can one oppress money?
MUFTI: You keep your money hidden away, in wallets, banks and safes. You keep it covered up. Why don’t you display it in public if it is a beautiful and precious thing?
REV: It will get stolen, obviously.
MUFTI: You keep your money hidden because it is so valuable to you. Now hear this. We Muslims value the true worth of women far, far, far more. Therefore these precious jewels are not in display to one and all. Yes our women are covered, but in honor and dignity.
